Mini Letters

Dear Fall,

I’m ready for you. I know some people are trying to soak in those last rays of summer, but my sweatshirts are knocking on the closet door and my windows long to be open at night. I’m already burning my woodsy candles in anticipation of your arrival. ‘Love you.

Dear Eclipse,

Thank you for providing a brief, healthy, unique distraction for our country. I am 100% camped out in the “Stay Vigilant” campground, but it was kind of adorable to see the country come together to witness a fun thing like you. You came at a good time.

Dear Realtors,

If you could schedule your showings & open houses all in one day that’d be awesome… I’m so stinkin’ tired of deep cleaning my house. (I know, I know… it’s all for the greater good. I know it’ll pay off.)

Dear The Tudors,

I love you. You’re one of my favorite things to watch on Netflix. Henry Cavill definitely helps…

Also, Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn is amazing.

Dear Zac Brown Band & Kenny Chesney,

While I’m so ready for fall, your music makes me long for the beach. Or maybe my current stressors just make me long for a vacation. Either way, someone give me an all-inclusive trip 😉 j/k

Sincerely,

Agreed, sign me up for fall. Well, winter, really, but fall is better than summer any day!
I hope we stay in our house forever, solely so I don’t experience the selling process. Good luck.

Our next house (fingers crossed) will be one we stay in for 10 to 15 years. (That’s the plan, anyway.) I know it sounds stupid to not buy a forever house (or so people have told me), but eventually I want to be out in the country on the land next to my parents. We’re not at a place where we want to build yet, though, so I’m not in a rush. I’m ready to make out next house super homey and tailored to us 😀

  5. I’m so ready for Fall too! Granted, it doesn’t really start here until late October/November but still. I’m ready for the idea of it! When I’ve had friends sell their homes, the impromptu showings (and constant cleaning) wore them out too. But, as you noted, it did pay off. Stay strong and my fingers are crossed that you find a great buyer soon!

Yeah, girl. The Tudors is what originally made me fall madly in love with him. Hahaha!
Warning- the show was on Showtime so there are some sex scene/nudity and some beheading. I typically turn away at those parts. Lol

  7. Selling a house is so hard! It’s so frustrating and difficult to try to keep the house just so all the time and that panic to get everything cleaned up when you get a last minute showing. I hope that you get an offer soon!

Thank you!! We did finally get another offer so we’re back to the inspection/appraisal/waiting stage. I’m just SO ready to move out and into the new one, lol!

The Tudors is wonderful! There are some sex scenes and beheadings, but I know you watch GoT so you can handle it. It’s mild compared to that. Ha. Enjoy your weekend!!

Aww good luck with all those house showings! That would stress me out, having to have the place so clean and tidy (especially when my dog and son are determined to make the place dirty and chaotic hahaha)…and Zac Brown Band makes me think of the beach, too!!!

I have no idea how people with children sell houses. Hahaha. I shared that thought with Kyle, too. Two dogs is enough to clean up after and round-up for showings. This is one of those times I’m glad we don’t have kids yet 😉 Lol!

I am so ready for the fall!!! It was interesting to see everyone go crazy over the eclipse. I myself thought it was pretty cool, but I like stars and stuff like that and am nerdy. Sometimes I wonder if anyone would have cared if it weren’t for social media, you know? Having to worry about keeping your house in showing conditions every single day is exhausting! Hopefully someone makes another offer and you wont have to worry about it!

I think it’s so nuts that we already know when the next one is and what path it will take. Like, we KNOW what the moon is going to do in seven years! What?! I think that’s so insane!! Ha! Science is crazy…. lol.

Henry Cavill isn’t only on The Tudors- unlike Natalie, Henry is in EVERY SEASON OF THE TUDORS. Like, you get to see his face in almost every episode. I prefer him in the later ones because his hair is longer 🙂 Hahaha!
