I always feel like a brat when I make these posts but A) it’s a collection of cool stuff I think people like me might be interested in and B) when family & friends ask about birthday/Christmas gifts it’s SUPER easy to point them in the direction of posts like this…

SO without further ado… here are some things I wouldn’t mind getting for my birthday next month πŸ˜‰ Also, the asterisks (*) are notes to family members.

Thanks to Erin, I now know of animalhearted.com

And these…

First things first… the newest illustrated HP book! βš‘πŸ–€
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (released 10/3)

Renegades by Marissa Meyer (pre-order for release 11/7)

Other stuff.

Kindle Paperwhite
Right now I use the Kindle app on my iPad sometimes, but it strains my eyes. I know Kindles have come a long way and I get a free book monthly with my Prime account, so I’d really like one of the middle-of-the-road tablets. *I’ve mentioned this to Kyle

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy
I don’t play video games as often as I used to… but I still keep my DS on my nightstand πŸ™‚ I love these games!

Nintendo Switch
Have these been restocked yet? Lol. I’d also like this game 😁

Some may call it fate… Pottery Barn Teen just released their new HP line πŸ˜€

One of these and one of those and these, too! | *These prices are ridiculous. No one get me this stuff.

I mean… new house new decorations, right? I’m sure K will be on board πŸ˜‰

ETSY for the win…

I love these so-freaking-much:

I am forever obsessed with artwork…

Ok, I’m done.

Actually… one more thing. A new president would be awesome. Preferably one that cares about equality, unity, safety, and people in general. Maybe one that tweets less and worries more about violence toward citizens, the health of citizens, and the overall lives of citizens (even the ones way out on an island THAT IS A PART OF THE USA).

K. Done.

*I just realized I could link up for Add It To My List with Lauren and Bre!

  1. I think a wish list is a great idea! Both on the giving and the getting side. Nobody wants junk, and no one wants to give an unwelcome present. My husband and I have Amazon wishlists for each other, that way we know exactly what to give, but there is still an element of surprise!

  2. The Switch is awesome and I cant recommend it enough!!! Same with Mario Kart 8. It’s really the only switch game I play. We have Super Bomberman too which is kind of fun. I cant wait until the new Mario comes out later this year! Those shirts are so fun!! And I really love that halloween mat. Great list!

  3. I want the Book was Better t-shirt because #truth. The welcome mat with the heart and pawprints – I want too! Errr … is it wrong that it would be T + M for Max, my cat? πŸ˜€ I am so looking forward to Renegades. I wasn’t wowed with Heartless but Renegades sounds sooooo good. And yes to a new President. Once that doesn’t incite violence against women, call Neo-Nazis fine people, pardon racists, collude with Russia or hold frequent white supremacist rallies and call them campaign rallies. One who cares about all Americans regardless of skin color, gender, religion or sexual orientation because it is ALL of us that make American great.

    1. I saw a The Book Was Better t-shirt at Target but the quality was terrible… Plus I guarantee the etsy shop owner came up with the shirt πŸ˜‰ Nothing wrong with the mat for you and Max!!
I liked Heartless. I’m nervous to read Renegades but we’ll see πŸ™‚
Hell, we’d be better off WITHOUT a president at this point. Ughhhhhhh.

  4. Omg, I love the Hairy Pawter shirt – and The Book Was Better one. So so true. Ooh I have the third illustrated HP pre-ordered (by a friend, aren’t they sweet?) and I can’t wait!! I also need Renegades!!

Ooh I hope you get a Kindle Paperwhite; I have one and it’s amazing!

P.S. Totally with you on a new president…

  5. You are killing me with all the Harry Potter stuff… I want it all now too.
I am such a sucker for anything graphic – tees, sweatshirts, bags.
I have such an old Kindle & I still love it – it holds the battery so good & I really enjoy it – but the day it dies, I’ll immediately get a Kindle White. I cant read it on my Kindle Fire – that screen & glare – UGHHH – I cant do it for long.

    1. Hehe- anything HP and dogs gets me every time. And combining the two? Psht, I’m sold πŸ™‚
I have a nook but it’s very old and dated and Kindle seems to be the top ereader out there.

  6. once upon a time i used to work at pottery barn and got forty percent off all williams sonoma brand stores’ merchandise. i’m done with retail hell, for sure, but damn if i don’t miss that discount. and god knows i’d make good use of it for that harry potter stuff.

and those prints! i LOVE them.

thank you for bringing these things to my attention.

    1. Oh man… I think it’d be super dangerous for me to work at a place like PB or HomeGoods or Pier One. I’d spend my whole paycheck!!
I think those prints are just so awesome!!

    1. I have a nook but I got it a looooong time ago and ereaders have come a long way since then. Plus, nook never really took off. Obviously I don’t need a Kindle, but I’d really really like one πŸ™‚

  7. yes i want all the things, especially the new president! ha. but seriously. i had a plain old basic kindle and now i have the kindle fire. to be completely honest, i like the reading of the basic one, but i hate how the books are in list format. i like my kindle fire because it shows me the covers of the books, like the kindle app does. you know? but the battery does drain faster than the basic kindle. but still. being able to see the covers of the books is a pro that outweighs the cons for me lol. plus it’s like $40. sold!

    1. I have a nook and I got it years ago… e-readers have come a long way since then. The screen isn’t great for reading and Kindles took off WAY better than nooks… So fingers crossed I get the husband to get me a nook πŸ˜‰
