Amazoning

I’ve posted about my Amazon purchases before, but it seems like they always appear a week or so after Christmas. I wanted to share my pre-Christmas purchases this time. Maybe I’ll do a follow-up after the holidays 😉 Thank you Rebecca Jo for the post inspiration!

Lately I’ve bought…

Desert Essence Whitening Plus Toothpaste & Mouthwash Bundle

I’m always on the hunt for c.f. tooth-care that can stand up to my coffee and tea addiction. I have a tough time getting K on board with some of my stuff but we both really like this! We’ve already seen results and I think that the tea tree oil is super effective.

American Crafts Pink Paislee Spellcast 36 Sheet 6×6 Paper Pad

Alexandra turned me on to this company. Unfortunately, I was paying attention to the price- not the size- when I ordered this. That doesn’t matter though. It’s gorgeous paper with fun prints- I’ll definitely use it all up in my scrapbooks!

SimpleHouseware Heavy-Duty 3 Bag Laundry Sorter Rolling Cart- bronze

The new laundry room in our house is pretty damn tiny. I love doing laundry but I love having space to do laundry. I’m adjusting to the new normal (which includes a laundry chute!!) and this little contraption helps SO MUCH. I seriously love it. I funnel the chute laundry into these three bins (white, black/dark, color) and then the bags lift OFF of the cart and I can dump them in the washer. Love it 🙂

Marvel Comics X-Men Logo Men’s Charcoal Grey T-Shirt and Wolverine Men’s Crew Socks 2 Pair Pack

We were in a wedding and the guys had to pick a superhero for their outfits. I picked Wolverine for Kyle 🙂 This shirt is SO soft. Even if he never wears it again (I think he will), I’ll totally wear it around the house. K also loves quirky socks so he’s a fan of these.

AOMEI Wedding A Line Tulle Tutu Jupe Knee Length Prom Party Skirt Black

I wanted a tulle skirt for my Halloween outfit. This one fit well and had a zipper and elastic waist with a cute bow. Perfect!

I also sent along some “needed items” to a dog rescue in Texas after the hurricane and I made a gift basket for a bridal shower with these items ordered from Amazon:

water bowl | donut | nylabone | treats | blanket

In other news…

I got one, two, three pairs of shoes from Target. Also this Halloween sweatshirt.

We ordered these bookshelves from Overstock.

We got 2 of these chairs from Big Lots.

And we got this large mirror from Lowes!

What online store has been sucking your wallet dry lately?

  1. I can’t tell you what I’ve ordered from Amazon lately… the amount is too shameful! It’s basically books and craft items though – yours is way more interesting/varied.

I feel like I order a TON of stuff from Amazon but then I go to compile the list and I’m like, ‘Huh, that’s really not that much stuff…’ Haha!

It’s sooo dang easy! Maybe too dang easy? Especially when you have the app on your phone and Prime at your fingertips. *buries face in shame* lol

  4. That toothpaste looks interesting. I need to check it out. I ordered a swimsuit off Amazon, somewhat reluctantly but I couldn’t find one locally and my old swimsuit got a big tear in it. I also ordered a terry cloth cap that I can wear to bed when I put on an overnight hair mask. So nothing terribly interesting but still getting an Amazon box makes me smile. And Max likes it too. He loves a good box. LOL!

Our dogs just don’t appreciate a good box 😉
Oooh, buying a swimsuit on Amazon was risky! Glad it (hopefully?) worked out! I haven’t tried the toothpaste yet, but we love the mouthwash!

Hmmm I wonder how that toothpaste and mouthwash is for sensitive teeth? The only thing I can use without being bothered too much is sensodyne. Doesn’t really help with whitening though, you know? Big Lots always surprises me with their furniture. Our favorite bookshelf came from there.

I have fairly sensitive teeth and the mouthwash hasn’t bothered me a bit. (We haven’t tried the toothpaste yet.) I can’t eat cold or hot things without pain, my gums bleed, and sweets make my whole mouth hurt. So if that’s considered sensitive, this mouthwash doesn’t hurt my mouth at all 🙂

  6. We buy soooo much from Amazon especially now that we live in a smaller town with less shopping options. Bonus is that we have a Discover card with 5% cashback on Amazon in Nov & Dec – Perfect timing for all the Christmas shopping I’ve been doing lately!

Dang girl! You’re saving alllll the money! I love how fast and simple Amazon shopping is. I think it makes mall shopping less stressful because I know that if I get sick of the crowds and lines and stress I can go home, log onto the computer, and finish my gift buying 🙂

That tulle skirt is ADORABLE!!! That’s perfect for Christmas parties coming up too!!
I want that Marvel shirt myself!!!
Does that whitening tooth stuff make your teeth sensitive? That’s always my fear with whitening things.

You are so right! I need to find a festive gold top to wear with the tulle skirt and I’m all set!
I haven’t swiped the shirt from K yet but maybe I will this week 😉
So far the mouthwash hasn’t made my mouth sensitive at all. I am SUPER sensitive to cold/hot things and sweets, but this mouthwash has actually curbed some of that. I haven’t tried the toothpaste yet, though, so no verdict on that one.

Hahahaha- I know that’s sad but I really do love it. It’s therapeutic for me. I wish my room was a little bigger, but I’m grateful for the hampers and shelves that save on space 😉
