This is not Baby Shark or The Wheels On the Bus or a lullaby. This is an adult playlist with songs that I hope inspire greatness, fearlessness, female empowerment, and strength. Will I play it with baby in the car? Yeah, no doubt. Are there some curse words in these songs? Yes.
Listen. I had You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate memorized by the time I was 5. My kid will be fine.
So what’s on baby’s badass female playlist?

Man I Feel Like a Woman and Don’t Impress Me Much! OMG… those bring back memories. LOL.
I would add I’m Every Woman (Chaka Khan or Whitney Houston, depending on your preference), Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves by The Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin, Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall, Bitch by Meredith Brooks, R-E-S-P-E-C-T by Aretha Franklin, possibly Just a Girl by No Doubt, possibly You Gotta Be by Des’ree,, possibly Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. Apparently I have a lot. LOL.

Oh man, some great, great songs on the list. I’m not a huge country music fan so some of the songs I don’t know, but I trust that they are kick-ass songs about kick-ass women! Also, a quick side note: this made me think of the car commercial where the parents are rocking to Milkshake by Kelis with kids in the car but they have headsets on. 😀
Well, even though I’m not a country fan, the first song that popped into my head with I Hope You Dance by LeeAnn Womack. 😀 Invincible by Pat Benatar, All My Life by K-Ci & JoJo. Run this World (Girls) by Beyonce, Fight Song by Rachel Platten, Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys and Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani. I concur with Bev’s list too!

Hahahaha. I never remember listening to actual kid songs in the car with my parents… It was always 80s music with my mom and old country with my dad. So I don’t see why we need to subject ourselves to baby shark if we can get her hooked on something else. LOL
Love your additions!

I can only say that I love this playlist – I would have chosen exactly these songs (with perhaps a few more badass Dixie Chicks songs, and maybe a new one or two or three from the Highwomen?).
And I hope this doesn’t freak you out, but I liked it on Spotify. I hope that’s okay!

Lol, doesn’t freak me out at all.
I need to check out the Highwomen. I saw those ladies formed a group but I haven’t listened yet.
