 3. Most surprising (good or bad) book you read?  

Bad Summer People by Emma Rosenblum – I really enjoyed this one and don’t typically read dramatic contemporary fiction like this.

 4. Book You “Pushed” The Most People To Read?

Everyone should read Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi.

 5. Best series you started/sequel/series ender of 2023?

For some reason, I waited to pick up Ashley Weaver’s Electra McDonnell Series. I’m so glad I finally did!

6. Best book from a genre you don’t typically read/was out of your comfort zone?

I didn’t read much out of my comfort zone this year.

 7. Most thrilling, un-put-down-able book of the year?

I devoured The Lover by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

8. Favorite cover of a book you read in 2023?

9. Most memorable character of 2023?

Major Ramsey from the Electra McDonnell Series. Handsome & mysterious. Lol

 10. Most beautifully written book read in 2023?

I loved the storytelling in The Alchemist. I really love that Jeremy Irons reads the audiobook on Spotify.

11. Most Thought-Provoking/ Life-Changing Book of 2023?

Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. Seriously. Read it.

12. Shortest & Longest Book You Read In 2023?

The Lover by Silvia Moreno-Garcia – 43 pages
The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton – 463 pages
