This year was brutal on a personal level. Externally, life went on. Internally, I struggled with more anxiety than I’ve ever felt. I feel like I aged 10 years in the course of 366 days. Definitely not my favorite year…
But it wasn’t all bad, and I know looking back on my pictures, I will remember the fun moments from 2024. Plus, challenges provide opportunity for growth- and I think I did a lot of growing and learning this year. I also reprioritized how I live and spend and volunteer and relax. And I’m grateful for that reset.
On a brighter note, we had a few vacations, I got a new car, and M grew so much! (It’s crazy to see her transformation from January to December…) I became a board member for the local historical society, a volunteer for the county humane society, the vice president of our elementary schools’ PTO, and a tour guide at a museum. K managed to stay surgery-free this year, he visited TN and FL without me for fun and business, and he also made countless delicious meals.
M finished up another season of dance, started a new season, and entered her second year of preK. She’s starting to read and do basic math equations, she has so many friends, and she’s getting better & better at managing her big emotions.
Alright. Enough about us. On to the pictures…

While I struggled internally off and on this year, it was a year of growth for M and a year of friends for K and I. There were so many challenges that were softened because of the love and support of my friends. Looking back on 2024, I feel stronger and more grateful than ever.
I hope 2024 was kind to you- and 2025 is even sweeter ๐

Happy New Year, friends!
-Audrey
