Book Challenge by Erin 22.0

Erin’s book challenge for 2025 kicked off at the beginning of the year, but I’ve been absent here so I never got around to sharing my picks for each category. It’s more than half over- and I likely won’t get to all of these- but I wanted to share them anyway 🙃

Here are my choices for the challenge this time around:

5 | Freebie: Locked in Pursuit (Ashley Weaver)
10 | A book you intended to read in 2024 but didn’t: Very Bad Company (Emma Rosenblum)
10 | A book with a main character who is an artist: The Writing Retreat (Julia Bartz)
15 | A book with a picture of a sunset or sunrise on its cover: Swift & Saddled (Lyla Sage)
20 | A book recommended by book clubs of Bush, Winfrey, or Witherspoon: Remarkably Bright Creatures (Shelby Van Pelt)
20 | A book whose title starts with letter “I”: In Cold Blood (Truman Capote)
25| A book with a specific city/town name in the title: The Witches of El Paso (Luis Jaramillo)
30 | A book with a female villain: A Court of Thorns & Roses (Sarah J Maas)
30 | A book by an author with name Erin or surname Gray: The Wedding Witch (Erin Sterling)
35 | A book about climate change/climate fiction: Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy

I have 30 points so far. I’m currently reading The Wedding Witch and I started, then DNF Migrations. It was giving me sad vibes and I’m not in the mood for that right now… 🤷🏼‍♀️

Book review to follow soon (I promise!) on the two I’ve already marked off.

Have you read any of these? Have any suggests for a replacement in the “climate change/climate fiction” category?
