Hello & welcome to another thrilling post about what I read. I know you’ve been wondering 😉
I was/am in the middle of several books, but I only finished three in time for today’s post.

I don’t know how this book ended up on my tbr list, but I’m glad I picked it up. Set in both our time and the future, it’s an eerie look at where social media could take us. Neither Oral nor Floss were likable, but I found myself rooting for Marlow. From the perspective of a mom, someone who scrolls aimlessly, and also fails victim to the comparison trap, it was a creepy reminder to put my phone down.

Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six by Lisa Unger | Thriller | ★★★★/5
This was on my tbr list AND library holds shelf… and then Netgalley blessed me with a copy 🙌 I am a sucker for a good locked-room mystery & Secluded Cabin… did not disappoint. Every character seemed to have a sin & a motive. The actual threat was unique and well developed. Admittedly I was 100% rooting for Hannah and her strong mom-survival-instincts.

Thank you to Netgalley for a copy of Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six. All opinions are honest & my own.
The Kiss Curse by Erin Sterling | Romance | ★★★★★/5
[A sequel to The Ex Hex.] Gwyn was fierce, Wells was attractive, the baby witches were a refreshing dose of friendship and loyalty… it was a great spooky read. It was steamy and it had a strong heroine- which is hard to find in a romance. I loved Gwyn’s confidence and I really loved her relationship progression with Wells. I can’t wait for Bowen’s book!

I should share what M has been reading, but I’m crunched for time and I want to get this posted. I promise I’ll have some M reads next time!

I really like the sound of the first two books.
I haven’t even got round to posting my reviews for September yet. Where does the time go?!

They were higher anxiety than I normally read, but enjoyable! I was glad to finish the month with a cute romance.
